Rx. Codonopsis Dang Shen 6-30g Tonifies the Middle Jiao , augments Qi, nourishes the Blood and promotes the generation of Body Fluids.
With Bai Zhu, for Spleen Qi Deficiency with anorexia, loose stools and vomiting.
Rz. Atractylodis Macrocephalae Bai Zhu 3-15g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, dries Dampness , promotes water metabolism, stabilizes the Exterior and stops sweating.
Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 9-30g Tonifies Qi and Blood, Strengthens the Spleen, raises the Yang Qi of the Spleen and Stomach, promotes urination and reduces edema.
With Dang Shen, for Qi Deficiency with general debility, anorexia, fatigue, tired extremities and spontaneous sweat.
With Bai Zhu, for Spleen Qi Deficiency with weakness, lassitude and loose stools.
With Dang Gui, for Qi and Blood Deficiency with chronic non-healing sores, numbness, painful obstruction and paresthesias.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3-15g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, disperses Cold, stops pain due to Blood Stasis and regulates the menses.
Rz. Dioscoreae Shan Yao 9-30g Tonifies the Spleen, nourishes Stomach Yin, stops diarrhea, tonifies Kidney Yin and astringes Jing.
With Dang Shen, for Spleen and Kidney Deficiency with fatigue, weakness, anorexia, and watery stools.
With Dang Shen and Bai Zhu, for decreased appetite and lack of energy due to Spleen Deficiency.
Sm. Dolichorus Bai Bian Dou 8-30g Strengthens the Spleen.
With Bai Zhu and Shan Yao, for diarrhea or vaginal discharge due to Spleen Deficiency.
Sm. Euryales Qian Shi 8-30g Strengthens the Spleen, stops diarrhea, stabilizes the Kidneys, astringes Jing, expels Dampness and stops discharge.
Fr. Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Yi Zhi Ren 3-10g Warms the Kidneys, astringes Jing and urine, warms the Spleen, increases the appetite and stops diarrhea and salivation.
With Shan Yao, prevents development of Deficiency Heat as a side effect.
With Dang Shen, Bai Zhu and Shan Yao, for diarrhea with Qi Deficiency.
Fr. Corni Shan Zhu Yu 6-12g Stabilizes the Kidneys, astringes Jing and Body Fluids, tonifies Liver and Kidney Yin and strengthens Kidney Yang.
With Yi Zhi Ren and Bai Zhu, for Incontinence in the elderly due to Kidney Qi Deficiency.
With Mu Li, for sweating.
